Gotcha Day!!
We got a call in the morning of Wednesday, June 28 saying that we'd need to be at the Hospital in Lexington @ 3 pm. So we got some things together of and headed to UK Hospital in Lexington.
We made it to the hospital by 3, met with the social workers, got some instructions, signed some papers and by 4 pm we were headed out the door with Max... in about an hour. It was crazy.... How do you mix formula? Does it need to be hot? How
often does he need to be changed... and fed? Talk about a crash course!Max is beautiful! He has a thick head of black hair and he has a great disposition. We left the hospital as SUPER PROUD parents... and we were scared too. We can't wait to tell you about our first night ;).

Congratulations, Daddy! Max is absolutely beautiful--we are such proud family members and can't wait to meet him!

Erica and Ryan! Max is a gorgeous baby and you guys look so proud in your pictures -- and just a little stunned, too! All of the gang at Anthem are so happy for you and send their love; Rita sends Erica best wishes and good luck. Hope you don't mind, but we had to spread the news to all our former team-mates, too! I had mentioned your good news in my journal on Wednesday, and some people you've never met sent their contratulations and well wishes! Congratulations again, and when you've had time to catch your breath I hope you'll let us know how things are going.
